It is so great to have outside activities that we can do, and painting is one thing we are not going to be able to be outside much longer! The children were really enjoying making bright colours with these tempera paint blocks. You can recreate this at home with the circular tempera blocks, cut in half, and banded together with rubber bands. Use a wide brush to get more than one color to fit.
They were really engaged with this project, and kept asking for more paper and more paper.
I love watching them all together, so focused and happy with what they are doing. It's great too, because they are process focused rather product oriented. Creative activities are much more enjoyable and stimulating when done this ay, and especially in the great outdoors.
